Research

I design experiential and problem-based learning for formal and informal learning situations. Using a cognitive load framework, I balance the work of the learning activity to support learners in reaching the objectives of the session. I thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams. I enjoy designing organizational processes and the necessary tools to make those processes successful. I have worked in resource-rich and resource-poor environments; with children and adult learners; in the US and internationally; covering a variety of subject matters in different learning media formats.
