Video Griot The Gambia

Video Griot is a non-profit project to create and distribute skill-based educational videos for adults in rural Gambia, West Africa. The project is a collaboration between Hannah Grossman, instructional designer; Momodou Alieu Bah, environmental development expert; and Mamadou Jallow, videographer.

We create videos on a variety of subjects, such as agriculture, food security, and small business projects. Each video models conducting a particular skill, in its context. The videos are being created in English and then dubbed into the local languages of Mandinka and Fula. They will be combined onto drives as video libraries and distributed freely.
